Make maintenance timely

A flexible and convenient online service for remotely monitoring the health of engineering equipment, AV devices and IT infrastructure at automation sites.

  • for AV projects, to monitor IT infrastructure and multimedia devices;
  • for home automation, to monitor automation systems, access control and engineering equipment;
  • for residential building automation, to monitor systems in apartments, common areas and landscaped grounds;
  • for urban spaces, where landscape and architectural lighting need continuous monitoring.

God's Eye is designed for automation sites running iRidi Pro servers with online licensing.

God's Eye provides:

  • alerts when site readings exceed permitted limits
  • notifications when components with scheduled service lives need replacement
  • alerts about abnormal conditions in devices and systems at remote automation sites

Remote monitoring scenarios

01.

A rapid rise in server CPU temperature may indicate a hardware problem. Arrange maintenance before overheating causes a failure and additional costs.

02.

Memory usage reaches 90%, indicating that the project may be too large or complex for one server. Moving some functions to another server can improve responsiveness and data processing speed.

03.

Low disk space calls for deleting data or configuring automatic cleanup. A full disk can stop the server and may reset the application.

04.

A collector runs too often or for too long, suggesting that its JavaScript needs optimization. Otherwise, the system may slow down and user commands may stall.

05.

Frequent power cuts or phase voltages outside the permitted range may call for a power system upgrade or a discussion with the energy supplier.

06.

A bus device stops responding, leaving some automation functions unavailable. For example, lights may not turn on or thermostats may stop working.

What God's Eye monitors

Server system parameters

  • CPU — server CPU load, %
  • RAM — server memory usage, %
  • Storage — server disk usage, %
  • Garbage Collector Rate — number of garbage collector runs in the last 24 hours
  • Garbage Collector Time — duration of garbage collector runs
  • Clients Count — number of connected control panels currently online
  • License — license status
  • Online — connection status
  • [plan] SrvUptime — server uptime since restart or power-on, seconds
  • [plan] SysDBSize — size of the iridium storage database, MB
  • [plan] LogsSize — size of the logs folder, MB
  • [plan] CPUTemp — CPU temperature, °C

Additional site parameters

  • power availability at the site, when automation and IT infrastructure have backup power
  • power quality, including overvoltage and phase loss
  • status of the CAN, KNX and HDL bus system IP interfaces (online/offline)
  • status of Bus77 devices (online/offline)
  • status of network equipment such as Wi-Fi access points, routers, switches and cameras (online/offline)
  • extended status information from PCs and devices at the site through Glances
  • engineering system readings outside configured limits (above, below or state changes)
